To provide real-time functionality (such as maps, weather radar, high-resolution imagery, and encyclopedia briefings), your browser communicates directly with third-party infrastructure providers. These third parties receive standard technical request data (such as your IP address, browser user-agent, and query parameters):

Vercel Inc.: Application edge hosting, asset caching, and security logging.
Open-Meteo: Meteorological and weather forecast API requests.
OpenStreetMap & CartoDB: Interactive map tiles and geographic coordinates.

By accessing or using ChoiceMatrix Travel, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

A. Informational & Planning Purpose Only: All destination information, route plans, packing lists, fare estimates, and safety advisories are provided solely for general informational and educational assistance. They do not constitute formal legal, travel insurance, or physical safety guarantees.

B. Limitation of Liability: ChoiceMatrix Systems India, its contributors, and authors shall not be liable for any personal injury, loss, property damage, transit delays, unexpected closures, fines, or expenses arising from the use of or reliance on any content, route blueprints, or calculators on this site.

C. Local Law Compliance: Travelers are personally responsible for verifying entry permits, inner-line permits (ILP), protected area permits (PAP), drone flying regulations, temple dress codes, and forest department guidelines directly with official administrative bodies.

⚠️ 3. Ground Hazard & Traveler Safety Disclaimer

Safety tags and hazard advisories reflect recorded terrain difficulties, historical incident logs, and published administrative notices. Environmental conditions across high-altitude Himalayan belts (Ladakh, Spiti, Uttarakhand, Sikkim) and coastal sea cliffs (Gokarna, Varkala) can change suddenly due to monsoon swells, rockfalls, or road blockages.

Travelers must obey all official directives from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Border Roads Organisation (BRO), State Forest Departments, Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), and local police checkposts.

⚖️ 4. Editorial Independence & Commercial Disclosure Policy

Destination safety assessments, hazard reports, and tourist helpline directories are published with strict editorial independence and are never sold or influenced by commercial interests.

To support ongoing server infrastructure and maintenance, ChoiceMatrix Travel may in the future include clearly disclosed affiliate links, ticketing partner referrals, or contextual travel service options. Any such commercial relationship will be explicitly labeled and will never compromise the objectivity of safety ratings or ground precautions.
